Inspired by onscreen sirens in Rossellini and Fellini films, Dell'Acqua created a line of womenswear that embodies femininity with a touch of the unexpected. Dell'Acqua received his degree in graphic design from Accademia di Belli Arti and at the age of 23 began working for the Italian fashion house Genny. Years later, Dell'Acqua became the creative director of Pietro Pianforini and then began designing for many Italian brands like Les Copains and Mariella Burani. In 1996, Dell'Acqua revealed his women's ready-to-wear collection at Milan Moda Donna. He debuted a men's line in 1998 with a line of women's shoes to follow in 2000. Dell'Acqua was awarded the Oscar della Moda for "New Women's Designer" in 2002 and has since designed for La Perla, added a collection of knitwear to his women's line, and recently became the creative director for Malo.
