Stylist Lucy Pinter met photographer Flora Evans at an editorial shoot in 1999, but it wasn't until years later that the two put their creative efforts together and founded Superfine. Launched in 2003, Superfine first garnered much attention with their skinny jean silhouette and edgy, London punk rock appeal. Loved for their edgy designs, and clean cut denim that is free from branding and excessive embellishment, Superfine creatively evolves each season yet maintains its original Brit-rock attitude. Pinter and Evans have worked with several artists, including Judy Blame, Nick Egan, and Jan Welters. Currently the line is in collaboration with Philip Treacy for their first collection of hats. Further down the road, the brand will team up with Ic! Berlin for a line of men's and women's sunglasses.
