Paris-based Danish designer Jorgen Simonsen is known for his artistic and skilled ability in mixing haute couture elements with ready-to-wear styles. Before becoming the Artistic Director and Head of Design at Annhagen, Simonsen spent years working with some of fashion's biggest names, including John Galliano, Alexander McQueen at Givenchy, and Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel. In 1998, Donatella Versace chose him to succeed her brother and create the Versace Atelier and the Versace Prete-a-Porter line. In 2001, Simonsen headed to Valentino where he created two couture collections before launching his own line later that year. Simonsen then joined Annhagen in 2008, bringing his cutting-edge, detailed creativity and knowledge of haute couture to the Danish line.
