Thakoon Panichgul offers youthful spirit to his line of modern garments. After graduating from Boston University and later working as a fashion writer in New York, Panichgul enrolled at Parsons to study design. In 2004, the designer debuted his first collection and quickly garnered a strong following among top editors, young starlets, and now a First Lady. Panichgul continues to receive accolades for his unique approach to garment construction and work with prints and color. For 2009, the Thai-born, New York-based designer introduced Thakoon Addition, a secondary line housing his favorite ideas, whims, and wearable styles from previous and present runways.
